Scheduled Maintenance

iDashboard will be unavailable from 8.00am Sunday 18th through to 12.00pm Monday 19th April for scheduled system maintenance and upgrades.

Outgoing feeds to the major portals will run as scheduled on Sunday morning to process any final property updates that are entered into iDashboard on Saturday night.

Incoming feeds from third party providers will be accepted during the maintenance window; these updates will not be processed until the maintenance has finished on Monday.

This maintenance does not affect the operation or availability of any website or email services that you may have hosted with iProperty.

What’s happening in this upgrade?

There is lots going on in this iDashboard release, with the main focus on system speed and stability. It’s all outlined in our related blog post, but here’s a rundown on the main improvements;

New job system – The new job system will improve property publishing times to your own website, eliminate the hourly upload wait to the major portals and bring back the instant property report generation. This new system also allows iDashboard to prioritise urgent tasks during peak demand.

New xml feed system – All feeds to third party portals are now shown on the individual property, including the status such as sent, if the property is live or if there was an error. The most exciting part is the ID from most third party portals is automatically displayed on the property back in iDashboard! Meaning? Simply click the third party ID to go directly to that property on websites such as Realestate and Domain without having to perform a search.

Selective publishing – Ever had the need to publish a property to your own website but not the major portals? Selective publishing now allows you to decide which properties appear on what websites.

Less ambiguous property types – We have simplified the use of property types and now use the same types featured on Realestate.com.au and the other major portals. Fewer categories will mean less confusion.

It’s fast. Very, very fast – With this release we are moving iDashboard to a new virtual server environment and a completely new database system. This means iDashboard will respond much faster to your general requests like adding contacts or updating listings.

Online helpdesk – A new help button in iDashboard will take you directly to our new online helpdesk at help.iproperty.com.au (no www’s!). Our online helpdesk replaces the user manual by providing you with unlimited access to a huge range of knowledge base articles, how-to acticles and frequently asked questions.
