Choosing a real estate technology supplier

Many of our clients discuss openly their experiences with their real estate technology suppliers.

We get feedback relating to suppliers from the past,  present providers, and even direct feedback about ourselves. Based on their feedback, there’s some pretty strong trends – so here’s some questions you should ask yourself about suppliers:

  • Who do you talk to when something goes wrong?
  • Can they deliver a decent website?
  • How reliable is their service?
  • Do they answer the phone?
  • What’s their software like?
  • Is it lacking in features or antiquated?
  • Do the portal feeds work properly?
  • Do they care when the job’s done?
  • Do they represent good value?

At iProperty, we believe our iDashboard real estate software and website packages are the pick of the bunch. We’ve seen the other platforms and are amazed agents put up with it. In fact, recently one of our clients switched suppliers – only to come back weeks later asking for another account!

Now that our development team has implemented a huge list of feature upgrades this year, the team is presently dedicated to maintaining iDashboards performance and reliability. Our websites are running seamlessly and we are continually building upon our portfolio of 350+ websites on a daily basis. Our web team is also developing 3 new products that will rock 2012. Our support team is continually updating training videos and online helpdesk articles when they’re not training or supporting our client base over the phone. We have just released the new iProperty portal. What other supplier has this level of drive and commitment to innovation?

If you’re reading this and questioning your present suppliers, ask yourself this – do you know how much iDashboard costs? Have you witnessed any demonstrations?  Do you know anything about the websites we can provide you, or understand the value we represent? If the answer’s “No” to any of those questions – why not get in touch, we’re happy to talk at any time!
