New Update Sticker for iDashboard Products

Terminology Changes (real estate speak)

One thing we found for users (especially new users) is that some areas and functions in iDashboard simply don’t make sense purely because of how they are labelled. As a result we have taken the terms that you use every day in the office and have made a number of changes across iDashboard to make it even easier to understand. In fact one of our most frequently asked questions is “What’s an OFI?!” – and if you don’t know what an OFI is you are about to find out.

Contacts

Requirement is now known as a Property Match. Property Matching allows you to tell iDashboard what your buyer is looking for in the market and set the minimum needs of the buyer, such as how many bedrooms and bathrooms they want and what their budget is. iDashboard will automatically email the matched properties to the buyer and keep them up-to-date in the future with any new properties that happen to match their market needs.

Allocated Agent is now known as Owner. As a contact Owner you can easily filter out only your contacts when searching on iDashboard. As an owner you can even make your contacts private.

Web Contacts are now known as Website Subscribers. These are people who have created their own property match via your agency website. iDashboard will email these people automatically.

Open Homes

OFIs are now known as Open Homes. Schedule your open homes to let the public know when they can inspect your properties. We have had a lot of feedback on private inspections and these are coming soon.

OFI Attendee is now known as Open Home Visitor. Log your open home guests against each open home time to see how many people have visited and who you need to follow up.

Library

Document Templates are now known as Mail Merge Documents. Upload your standard documents, agreements and contracts and merge against over 350 different fields of data.

Agency is now known as Your Library. Your library stores all of your mail merge documents, documents and sms templates for use across iDashboard on Contacts and Properties.

Global is now known as Sample Library. The sample library provides you with a library of documents to easily get started with the mail merge functions of iDashboard. You can install sample documents and change them to suit your exact needs.

Mail Merge is now known as Mail Merge Fields. Merge your standard documents against over 350 fields of data in iDashboard. The mail merge fields list shows you exactly what you can merge.

Real Estate

Marketing Effort is now known as Internet Marketing Effort. The internet marketing effort outlines the status of your portal uploads and the ID for some portals. There is also a new link to a help desk article that better explains the terms used by the internet marketing box.

Snap Send Solve

There is a new app in town!

The team at iProperty have come across a great little app which we believe is something that everyone will want to use.

The app is called Snap Send Solve, and it allows you to report issues and provide general feedback to your local council in under 30 seconds.

Whether its a faulty parking meter, uncollected rubbish, or a dog has left something unpleasant on your lawn; snap send solve can report it all.

All you need to do is take a photo of the issue, and snap send solve automatically knows who to send it to by utilising the GPS on your phone to locate your local council.

Snap send solve works Australia wide and is currently available for free on the Android Market and Apple App Store.

Want to find out more just visit snapsendsolve.com, and you will be one step closer to reporting those pesky unresolved issues!
