Expense Budget Tracking

You can now see even more information than before on the property summary page of iDashboard with the inclusion of Expense Budgets.

Expenses are displayed on the property summary page for a listing. Its a great way to keep track of the budgets for the Vendor, Listing Agent and the Agency. For example say the Vendor has a budget of $5000 for Vendor Paid Advertising. The Vendor has spent $250 so far on advertising. The expenses screen shows what the budget is for each group, how much they have spent, and how much money is remaining.

The Expenses summary screen is updated via the Expenses tab on a property listing.  All you need to do is add a budget for the Vendor, Listing Agent and the Agency. As soon as you start recording expenses against these group the information will update automatically on the Expenses section allowing you to easily track your budgets for all of your properties.

New Feature: Bulk Open Homes Manager

You’ve been asking for it, and its finally arrived!

The team at iProperty strives to ensure that anything you do in iDashboard is quick and simple. Well now your life has just become even easier with the Bulk Open Home Manager. This awesome feature will allow you to create multiple open home times for multiple properties, all in one page.

To use this amazing feature, go to the Real Estate tab on iDashboard and click Open Home Manager. From this one page you will be able to create all the Open Homes you need and not have to visit each individual property – a HUGE time saver!

We have also included another new feature to both the Open Home Manager and Open Home section of a listing. You will now be able to assign an agent as the host for each individual Open Home. This handy addition will allow you to keep track of who has hosted each Open Home*.

*Note: This feature will come in very handy with a few future updates of iDashboard that will be coming soon!

New Feature: Price Reduction Notifications

We receive hundreds of suggestions every month for new features, but one feature has been asked for more than anything else… It’s FINALLY here and we know you are going to love it: Price Reduction Notifications for our automated email campaigns.

The price reduction notifications allows you to include your price-reduced properties in your automatic weekly emails.

The feature has two parts. First reduce the lower price of in the price range of your property. When you update the property, a safe-guard message will appear asking if you would like to include this property in your email alerts under price reductions. If you would like your price reduction sent out in an automatic composition select yes, if not select no.

The next thing you will need to do is either create a new Price Reduction automatic campaign or allow price reductions to be sent in one of your current automatic campaigns. To add price reductions to a pre-existing automatic composition simply select the email that you would like to add the Price Reduction properties to. Click on the Email Contents and select the number of days for Price Reductions. For example if you select 7 days, price reductions that have been made in the last seven days will be included in the email – the exact same way you set how many days of new listings and sold listings should be included.

Its also easy to create a dedicated email for Price Reductions. Simply create a new automatic email, select which days to send the email on and put the amount of days for the price reductions.

The team at iProperty knows that everyone will love this new feature. So, if you have a property price that needs to be reduced, login to iDashboard and setup Price Reduction emails.

Please note that properties with price reductions will only be sent out if you select ‘Yes’ at the time of reducing the price AND if you have Price Reductions set to a value other than 0 in your automatic campaigns.

Even More Contact Import Fields

Did you know that you can import your Contacts into iDashboard via CSV file!

iDashbaord allows you to be able to bulk import your contact database into iDashboard with the use of a CSV file. No longer do you need to manually input hundreds of contacts. iDashboard allows you to import a wide range of values automatically including; email adresses, contact numbers, partners details, postal and residential addresses, company information, the list goes on and on.

The team at iProperty have been working hard on ensuring iDashboard is the easiest system to use, and now with our new look it’s even faster and easier to accomplish what you need to do.

The new look contains drop down menus which allow faster access to your data. No more clicking on multiple menu items to get to where you need to go. All you need to do is hover over a menu item and click on the sub-category.

New Feature: Introducing Message Center

Inbox for Message CenterWe have been working really hard over the last couple of months to bring you a lot of updates to iDashboard to help make your daily iDashboard tasks a lot easier. All these updates that  we have been rolling out to iDashboard have been a direct result of discussions with our users to find out exactly what they like, what they love and what they would love. After weeks of preparation and improvements to our capacities and computing power we are excited to rollout the newest feature to iDashboard: Messaging Center.

We all know what this is like: spend a few hours out of the office at appointments and meetings only to return to a dozen messages, often spread across SMS, emails, Skype messages, instant messages and Post-it notes – impossible to manage! So why can’t all these messages be in the one place? Messaging Center allows your office to do just that, send short once-off messages, similar to an SMS, to other staff in your office via iDashboard.

Messaging Center allows you to:

  • Send short 160-character messages to other staff in your office
  • Send group messages or office announcements
  • See when your messages have been read and by who
  • Reply quickly to a message with one click
  • Keep track of which messages you have acknowledged or followed up
  • Optionally send the message as an SMS too for 15c per receiver

Popup notification for Message CenterIf you use iDashboard all day and constantly have it open, there is even a cool little alert box that pops up in the bottom right corner of your screen. Click the alert to go directly to the message or simply ignore it and it will go away. What’s best is that you can send a new message wherever you are in iDashboard without having to actually leave the listing, contact, report or screen you are currently working on, making it the ideal tool for reception and admin staff who don’t want to change screens or applications, which can attribute to workflow disruptions and increase the possibility of mistakes.

And how much is this going to cost? IT’S FREE! We have decided that this feature is so cool that we want to share it with all of our users, it really is a simple and effective way to keep your messages all in one spot and anyone in your office can use it!

Please note that to use Messaging Center effectively you must have your own username and password for iDashboard. This can be sent on the Admin > Employees tab. If you want to send your messages as an SMS you need to have a mobile number associated with your employee profile. SMS messages are 15c each.
