New Website Sticker for iProperty Products

The Avenue [theavenueatcasey.com.au]

Due for completion in 2013, ‘The Avenue at Casey‘ is the 6th Melbourne land-release development from Brown Property Group and the newest development website from iProperty.

Built on iProperty’s WordPress-based real estate website software, The Avenue at Casey website is a modern and engaging site designed to showcase the Cranbourne, Victoria-located development and inform potential buyers about the investment opportunities available at the next release. It includes important content such as location and proximity to local facilities and landmarks, including photos and maps. Also featured are things that don’t exist yet, such as 3D renders of the planned shopping mall and photographs of display homes. Rounding off are the other obvious pages like Contact information, How to Buy, and a Latest News portal.

The real juice of ‘The Avenue at Casey’ website, though, is in the Home Finder, Land Sales and Development areas.

Home Finder is a modified version of iProperty’s standard property search-and-view web engine. It is able to show properties that have been built or will be built in future, allowing visitors to filter search and mark certain property listings as favourites, just like a standard real estate office website.

Land Sales reveals something altogether revised for iProperty: interactive subdivision maps. And when we say “interactive”, we mean interactive for both the visitor and for the administrators at Brown Property Group. The maps themselves are built to show the development as a whole, including all stages (street blocks of houses), as well as being able to open up an individual stage and view the streets and land lots available to buy. Rolling over each area on the map pulls up quick info about each lot or stage, like land area or its availability status.

There are two really great parts to this system: a) there’s no Flash, so it’s completely i-device-friendly (iPhone, iPad, etc), and b) the entire mapping system can be administered by the client, Brown Property Group. This means there’s no need for iProperty to make custom changes to the mapping system once it’s implemented – our client can effect changes to the maps like turning a stage or lot from “Available” to “Sold”, or loading in new or updated property specs. A dynamic system means less work for everyone!

Built on the same system, Developments shows Brown’s entire development area on a map, including all 9 current developments plotted out with pop-up info. Similarly, this can be all modified through the back-end admin section. What would have taken weeks to accomplish in the past can now be implemented for our customers in a very short amount of time and provides a better experience for web users in the end.

Keep an eye out for Brown Property Group’s new master website to be launched in the next few weeks…
