Contacts Redesigned

The team at iProperty have been working hard on our latest release, and the latest release for iDashboard is the biggest so far for 2012. What makes this release so big? In short, we have completely redesigned the contacts area!

We have received hundreds of bits of feedback on the contacts area of iDashboard and we decided to pull it all together in one massive update. Contacts still works very much the same way but we have giving it a modern makeover that makes it far easier to understand and user. Not only will existing users love the makeover, but new users will find it far easier to learn.

Adding a Contact is just as easy as ever. Select Add a Contact and you will be presented with the redesigned New Contact screen. For the most part the screen is the same as before, with some cool little updates. First up: the contact categories no longer display down the right had side of the screen as a messy bunch of tick boxes. Categories has now moved to become its own smart category drop down box, which allows you to build up categories without ticking them. Secondly: Letter Greeting and Envelope Greeting have a new home. These two items have been moved to the Addresses tab of both the New Contact and Edit screens.

The next part of the Contact redesign involves the removal of the expanding tabs that have been a staple feature of iDashboard since day 1. The new contact profile navigation bar features the same icons as before, however they no longer expand when you roll your mouse over them, instead you will get a handy tooltip popup – this is perfect if you want to move your mouse from left to right and see what every single tab does.

And last but not least, the edit screen for each individual contact in iDashboard has been redesigned to have the same formatting as the revamped New Contact. The Edit screen now features the same cool new look and is easier to use than ever.

Just as we did with the New Contact screen we have moved contact categories from displaying on the right hand side of the screen, to displaying in a nice drop down box in the Edit screen for each individual contact. The Letter Greeting and Envelope Greeting areas have also been moved to the Addresses tab in the Edit screen for each individual contact.

The team at iProperty have been working hard on the new look for the contact screen and we hope everyone loves it as much as we do. If you haven’t seen it yet just log in to iDashboard.com.au and experience it for yourself. And remember, keep that feedback coming!

New Contact Search Interface

Our Contact area redesign continues with our latest release. In this release the team at iProperty have been hard at work on the system ensuring that searching is faster, easier, and it looks nice too.

Introducing the new Contacts Search interface. We not only have the General Contact Search, we also have the new Buyer Match Search and the Last Contacted Search.

The General Search works the same as it always has, but the team at iProperty has redesigned it as part of our Contact redevelopment, but the amasing part of this redevelopment is the new Buyer Match Search and Last Contacted Search. The Buyer Match Search allows you to search for all of your contacts that have specific buyer match requirements. No longer do you need to try and remember the name of the contact that wants a house between $550,000 and $650,000. With the new Buyer Match search all you need to do is fill in the details and all of your contacts that fit the search criteria will be displayed.

Just as good as the Buyer Match Search is the Last Contacted Search. Ever wanted to know when contacts were last contacted, or could you not remember a contacts name but remember the date the contact was last contacted? The Last Contact Search is the last new edition to searching for contacts. For the Last Contacted search to work, contacts must have a note associated with the contact. If you want to know how to add a Note to a contact click here to read  our help desk article on adding notes. To perform a Last Contacted Search select the Last Contact Search button and enter the form details.
